Northwest Arkansas Public Schools
Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville high schools are among the top 1,300 high schools in the country based on the number of students taking Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams.
Fayetteville High School made the top 500, finishing with a ranking of 417. Bentonville finished with a ranking of 661 and Rogers ranked 1,131 of the 22,000 high schools on the 2009 list of the Best High Schools in America compiled by Newsweek. For complete story, click on the link below:
Northwest Arkansas Schools Make Newsweek List
The schools named on the list are among the top 6 percent of schools in the country, according to the Newsweek Web site.
Northwest Arkansas has four major school districts listed below and several smaller districts including Farmington, Lincoln, Prairie Grove, Elkins, Huntsville, Pea Ridge, West Fork, Greenland and others.
